Inner beauty...
I just love how true this quote is! I mean if you think about it no matter how well you dress people are going to notice whether you smile or not. Today in our society just about everything is based on your outward appearance. If you are trendy, fashionable, or wearing makeup. Everywhere we look focuses on how you look and even if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend or not. We see it daily in TV shows, magazines, movies and just about everywhere we look. I think people have forgotten where beauty really comes from. It comes from the inside. It is the light inside that shines through, kindness, and hope. Have you ever noticed that if you meet a really nice person you think that they are absolutely beautiful. They are so beautiful to you because they have such a kind or loving spirit, and they have the light of the Lord shinning through them. These are the people that bring life, love, and light into our lives. So, this week, instead of worrying about our outward appearance how about we focus on being the person whose inward appearance is shinning through and bringing light to others lives. And remember "A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear."
