All the single ladies...

I think all of us single ladies feel like this sometimes.... like our love life is a blank slate... our love lives are literally non-existent...which it is but that's not the point.

I jokingly told that same line to someone and was taken back as I was told that having a non-existent love life could be more of a blessing in disguise than we make it out to be.

The thought kinda rolled around in my head for a while and I realized that statement could not ring more true.

Think about it, if God has a plan for our lives causing everything to happen for a reason, then we are single for a reason.

I know it's kinda hard to wrap your mind around. How is being single going to affect something in my future?

You're right. Maybe we should all just give up and just accept that we are all going to die old maids. Just kidding, don't go die an unhappy, old maid.

The truth is if you are single right now you are probably being protected from something. God knew what He is doing with our lives, He's got it all planned out for us. All we have to do is wait....... for the PERFECT GUY to come around!!

Sike! He doesn't exist..... like at all

But before you freak out on me, this doesn't mean that there isn't a "perfect" guy for you.

What do I mean by "perfect"? Well, God isn't just going to bring two random, polar opposite people together just so they can completely fail in life. He brings two people together for a perfect reason.

Now you might say, "Why did he bring my parents together? We are homeless because my parents can't keep a job! How is there a reason for this?"

And the truth is I can't give you an answer.

I can't tell you why you are going through what you are or why your life is so hard right now. But, I can tell you that there is a reason.

Who knows maybe you will find the cure to cancer or end world hunger. But, if you didn't exist then those things could never even be a possibility.

So, what do we do when we are waiting, just stare at the sky in anticipation of some guy that will wander up?

No, we chase after God's heart.

We strive to have a deeper relationship with God everyday. We live for God and not man.

And one day the "perfect" guy will also be chasing after God and bump into you.
