Here comes the new girl....

So, today we are going to talk about being the new girl (or boy) in situations. I don't know about you but for me being the new person is literally my least favorite thing EVER.

I mean, you walk into a room completely full of strange. You see people watching you wondering who you are, maybe even judging you for what you look like. And instead of feeling welcomed, maybe you feel like a leper, an outcast, you feel like you are not good enough for any of them.

I am here today to tell you that YOU ARE. You are good enough, you are pretty enough, you are cool enough, you are amazing and anybody who can't see that is not worth you spending your time on.

Don't waste your precious time thinking about all your imperfections. Life is not going to take a detour so you can waste time thinking about how you are not good enough. You just have to let it go and move on.

No matter what happens in life, no matter what you say, what you do, or what you think God's opinion is the only one that will ever really matter. Let all those crazy people think whatever they want about you because your quirks, and imperfections are amazing and beautiful.

Recently, I read a devotion about being the new person. This devotion had a really good point. Whenever you feel left out or nobody is talking to you, go and find someone who is alone. Go make their day and talk to them let them feel like they are worth your time and you will feel better. Who knows, you may even make a new friend out of that experience.

You know, God does this exact same thing for us each and everyday. He finds the lost and leads them to Him. He makes us feel loved and tells us WE ARE ENOUGH. God does this everyday and yet we shoo Him away and create a barrier between us and God. We claim that He is judgmental and cruel or that He doesn't care about us. But no matter how much we do that He will always be knocking at that door to our heart. He will tell you there is no wall because His son tore down that wall when He died and rose again.

So, remember you are loved, you are precious, and YOU ARE ENOUGH no matter what others think of you.

xoxo
